I loved Gundam SEED, but for different reasons back then. When I First watched it, I was really wowed by the awesome l33tness of Kira. I used to not care whether his characterization was essentially thrown out the window during Destiny. Three years after Destiny aired, I was absorbed into a whole new understanding where the unseen is seen.

Another thing of change was my reaction to Lacus' 'greatness'. I used to be astonished by Lacus' wit, I still am... but looking at it differently paints Lacus in a more sinister, less benevolent nature as opposed to the pop-star turned politician that she is frequently hailed.
